I found this while I was browsing for art references using Google Image Search. This is the first time I’ve seen an image of the Shichinintai’s heights in comparison to some of the main cast members.The site has a lot of “setting” images like this one. They’re really good to use as art references.
(Yes, Bankotsu really is that short. This is why seeing fanart where he towers over *insert love interest’s name here* will never fail to amuse me. Extra fail-points if it’s any other member of the Shichinintai that isn’t Mukotsu. Let’s face it: it’s Inuyasha fandom, so someone, somewhere has probably drawn or written this. It wouldn’t be the strangest pairing I’ve seen by a long shot. )

Apparently, Ginkotsu, Mukotsu and Kyoukotsu didn’t have childhoods. Maybe that’s why they became homicidal maniacs? ;)

Okay, it’s not like I expected a series about a time-travelling schoolgirl and a guy who’s half dog-youkai to be amazingly historically accurate but I still find the sheer WTF factor of Ginkotsu the 16th century Japanese cyborg to be utterly hilarious. XD (This fan essay makes a pretty good case for Inuyasha occuring around 1550AD. “Five hundred years ago” is more of a rough estimate than anything else.) Maybe Renkotsu’s been at Jakotsu’s stash.
I love this artist so much and I don’t even know who is he/she.
